Since these are just about finished I figured I'd write a thread about them to give some of you some ideas for your own since most of everything I have done here has been taken either off of this site or bestdestinationweddings so time to pass it on

Right after we finalized and booked our wedding this was the first thing I have started and was so excited to do. I figured with all of our guests travelling so far and spending so much money it was a great way to show our appreciation. Now I wish I had added up everything I had spent on them but I did purchase everything throughout a year so it didn't hurt too bad haha.

All right the finished bag with attached post card from vistaprint (you will see a trend here lol)

We also had a lot of single guys coming along on the cruise and I didn't want them to feel awkward carrying that bag around so I searched on ebay and came up with these navy blue backpacks (one of our wedding colors)

I made the chapstick labels on vistaprint using address labels and then just cut them to size and stuck them on!

thanks everyone!!! I cannot wait to hand them out only 80 more days haha I would love to have them all delivered to everyones stateroom after the wedding (getting married on embarkation day) Carnival will deliver them for $1 a bag which is not bad, but I know it is just going to be too much with everything else we have to carry on the ship. So we have decided that at our little "meet and greet" the night before at the hotel we will hand them out to our guests and it will be their responsibility to take them on the ship lol

Can't blame you for that! I'm still deciding on what we're going to do. We've only got 30 guests so wouldn't have that much stuff to lug on, but it'd be nice to get it out of the way the night before!

These gift bags are fabulous...and incredibly generous! You will make your guests feel very appreciated. And all of the items are so personalized to your wedding...just lovely.

And albean....does my screen name look familiar to you from another TV board I frequent....your screen name looks like one of my 'friends' from over on that not-yet-married board so I am curious.

We did this too -- distributed them the night before at the hotel to everyone who was staying there, and only had to carry bags for the 2 couples not at our hotel to the ship with us. Worked well for us!

yeeaa another Dream bride We chose the 1 1/2 open bar and hors d'oeuvres
and have reserved the DJ. Our family and friends love to party so this is more us. We have a little over 40 people going. The we have also reserved an hour long cocktail party before one of the formal nights because I know the wedding is going to fly by.

I also got signs from Vista Prints. Where did you get the door hangers? I didn’t see they had them. How much were they? When is your big day?

I am also a Carnival bride, are you getting married on the boat or on the ship? Sorry if you answered any of these questions. Your help is appreciated!!!!

thank you! The door hangers are actually rack cards that I punched holes in the top of. I got them for free during one of their sales just paid like $5 for the shipping. Our wedding is February 9th and we are getting married on the Dream on embarkation day.
