To those of you that have done this type of cruise before, I have questions, please...

1) How is this company?
2) How did your insurance handle riding outside USA?
3) How was your not having an international driver's license handled?
4) Anything else that is needed to know or that you learned after being on this cruise?

My hubby's MC is looking into the 04/24/14 out of NJ. Need to be able to take a trike. Need time to payoff cruise.

We are going on our 3rd Motorcycle cruise in 2013. We have had a great time and have made some wonderful, life-long friends. When you go on one of these cruises, you have to pay a lump sum of cash the first night onboard, this covers insurance for on the islands, any permits needed and some compensation for the escorts on the islands. There has only been one island that we have been on so far, that issues you a temporary licence and that is St Kitts. It is such a great way to see the islands and have fun riding you bike at the same time.

Thanks for all the info, XRAYMAGIC. I called company and got additional info I needed. Did not know anyone that used them so I wanted firsthand review. Looks good to me.

Is anyone spending the night prior to the cruise at the Marriott Newark Airport? I think I'll ride down the day before and spend the night there. My gf will be flying in on the 18th and will meet me on-board.

Are you going as part of the motorcycle tour? We live on Long Island so will be riding in that morning. Hopefully with other couples.

Yup! I live I'm Mass and it's about a 4 1/2 hr ride. I could leave early on the 18th but I'd rather ride down the day before and not have to worry about a flat tire or something. What do you ride?

I am the passenger. My hubby has a 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 and a 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Voyager ABS. We would be booking via ETA. Is that your group also? We are trying to get a few more couples to go. We are only a couple of hours or less from home to Cape Liberty so no overnight needed.

DH and I have heard about MC cruises and we really want to do one. I would really love to surprise him with this cruise for our 10th anniversary in March 2014. I would love to do it next year but I am pretty sure they are booked up and that the price would be a bit high for me to pay off without him noticing.

Not necessarily booked up. We are looking at the 04/2014 cruise out of Cape Liberty, NJ only because we are looking to leave from close to home also only Explorer of the Seas allows a trike on which friends ride. However if they do not go, I have more choices available.

After deposit which is steep ($900 for us), I calculate that I would need to pay about $143 per month to payoff by December. That would give me 4 months to get some play money together. And if I do my taxes early....

Hubby and are oing on the 4/2014 motorcycle cruise and cant wait. This will be our first cruise of this type. Looking forward to it.

Originally from Long Island but now a North Eastern Pa resident. Not sure yet if we will riding up overnight or just head out early in thr morning. Was wondering if anyone knew what time we have to be at the ship in the morning??

We've done 2 on the Explorer and bikes and riders are to be at the pier between 1000 and 1030. Passengers go to the terminal because they are not supposed to be in the secure area where the bikes gather.

Hi,

We weren't sure if we were overnighting but we will be. We live about 2 1/2 hours out but for not chancing it for traffic or anything else. Plus I'd rather not have to get up at the crack of dawn. Although ill probably be up anyway cause of the excitement.

Hubby and I will be on our own bikes and really looking forward to it.

I just stumbled across this thread... as a biker I would love to take my bike on a cruse and visit ports. I was wondering if there was any fb pages or other information anyone could share?
I just returned off of the Carnival Conquest where one of the excursions I took was a bike ride across the Cozumel island.... it was a great experience, the only thing that would have made it better if I'd been on my own bike! LOL!
