Yeah! That sounds awesome!
With the license thing:
We signed it, scanned it, and then emailed as well as sent in the hard copy. But most of the paper work wasn't due to them until about the 90 day mark.
It makes sense as soon as you get there... the person who will help you out is SOO awesome! (At least ours is!) They will make sure there are papers in when and where they need to, and they will let you know what needs to get done ASAP and answer any of your questions.

After months of perusing this site, I can finally say it is official I am 2013 bride. We have just booked our wedding on the Carnival Liberty for the 14th December, 2013. I am totally ready for this adventure.

Picked up the wedding dress last week and saw it has numerous winkles. I called the hotel to see if they have cleaners on site and found out they do so I am so excited since the flight on the plane will just make my dress more winkled. LOL
I have to sit down and fill out the wedding invites and get that going.
When I booked the cruise I had a year to wait. How time flies!!

I got our final call last week. We confirmed our ceremony space (Chapel), reconfirmed our reception space (piano bar with the pianist) and went over the cake order. All is good at this point. Our first guest is flying in early next week--only 11 days to go!

All the usual things--final fittings, packing, etc. It'll be a busy week at the CarnivalBrides house.

So I have been diligently working with groups to get the things that I need for our 2013 Celebrity wedding! I ordered my veil, sash, and dress already. I have been working to create the wedding of my dreams! With our 75 guests sailing with us, I have been working on group activities for the guests during the cruise. So far, things are coming along. I am happy.

Hi everyone, I am still looking for any other Carnival Victory brides out there...I haven't had much luck, this must not be a popular ship to get married on! Anybody out there??? . We are July 8th out of Miami - getting closer!

I am a 2013 wedding bride aboard Allure of the Seas. Booked last March, wedding in June, so excited. As far as photography, I understand the concern, so I have decided to have photos done at home on the beach and bay as before the wedding and then post wedding with the groom after we are home. That way, I will have all the different photos I want. Who, knows after the wedding, and looking at the photographers photos, I may like them enough, not to have the post photos in our hometown. But that is the idea I have. I have not booked a local photographer yet. You might look into what your local photographers would cost for something like that and see if that is in your wedding budget.

The living room of Carnival_Brides house is full of suitcases and boxes! Everything is packed! Just waiting for morning to load the vehicles and head to Baltimore!

75 more days!! I have been wondering how to get my wedding favors to the ship. I am flyng in and was thinking on shipping the boxes to the hotel were we will be staying a couple of days before the wedding. I can not see myself checking the boxes onto the plane.
Other than that we are just waiting for all the RSVP's to come in.
Oh and to not gain any weight since the dress fits just right !! LOL

Just back from Carnival_Brides wedding on the Pride. Everyone from Carnival was amazing with helping with the wedding and reception. The photographer did a great job on the photos. We used some small details to personalize the ceremony and reception areas. A review of everything will be posted later this week.

I'm hoping to squeeze our cruise wedding into 2013. We're just starting the process and need to set a date, pick the cruise line, etc. All we've decided so far is that we're getting married on a ship ported in, or sailing from, Baltimore.
