I'm thinking about getting some RRs for our crusie in March.. Has anyone used them on NCL recently out of Miami?

As a side note, I didn't know liquor wasn't allowed and on my last cruise a few years ago, I got one of those big bottles (plastic) of Vodka on thru my checked luggage, I guess that was just luck!

I have used Daisani water bottles for several years with no problems and they are a lot stronger than the rum runners.

Rum runners are collapsible containers to smuggle alcohol on board in your luggage if needed. They either work great or security just doesn't check luggage very thoroughly. Supposedly do not show up on X-ray. We have used them quite a few times.

We love our rum runners and use them every cruise. As a matter of fact just ordered a new set cause the old ones were beat up. They have never leaked but no need to chance it. We put the small ones in out pockets (cargo shorts) as the metal detectors do not pick them up, and well we are a redneck couple (good ole southern men) so we pack our cowboy boots. We always place the large rum runners in the boots in our checked luggage.

Cool

Never had a problem with RR's. Have used the "water bottle" trick in a couple of ports too - and that was fine.

Hopefully with Princess' new crack down on confiscating and destroying liquor, the RRs will still sail through!

I actually use a couple RR's for carrying mouthwash in my checked baggage. I trust them as they won't leak.

A switch on putting whiskey into a mouthwash bottle.

My other secrets I keep to myself.
