Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale in Dania

We booked this hotel for a pre-cruise stay because their cruise package included parking, breakfast, and round trip shuttle to the pier.

Has anyone stayed here? It is on 18th Avenue and looks like their are several restaurants in walking distance.

There are a few across Stirling ( very busy hwy) in Oakwood plaza. We have been there 2 times, very nice hotel. We have been on 14 cruises and like the area of 17th street better. More places to eat and in general more things to do. Water taxi stop under the drawbridge, by the Hilton Marina. Trolly for one dollar per ride that takes you along 17th street then along the beach, get on ,get off all day for 3 dollars.
