IC Miami - Bakery/Deli nearby?

We will be staying at Intercontinental Miami (Bayside). Couple years ago, we stayed at Marriott and enjoyed a short walk to Daily Creative Food Co. based on recommendations on this forum for breakfast.

Is there a similar type place near the IC? We are staying 2 nights pre-cruise and looking for breakfast options other than Starbucks in the hotel lobby. The Daily is 2 miles from IC and a bit more of a hike than we'd like. Aware of MetroMover and comfortable using that if no other near by places.

The Daily was great as we got breakfast and picked up some pastries for snacks and breakfast the next day.

Suggestions welcome.

Thank you.

There is a new Whole Foods a few blocks away from the IC and they have a really nice bakery and tables and chairs. That would be one option.

Havana coffee & Tea co is close by. Their address is 155 E Flagler, it's a great choice. There is an Au Bon Pain close by as well as.

If we are ever in doubt, we ask the doormen or concierges where they would go to eat. As a result, we have been to some of the most amazing little restaurants and come out with full tummies and stories to tell.

The last time we were in Miami we stayed at the Yve Hotel (just down the street from the IH) and were directed to "the cafeteria" around the corner. We went and, oh my gosh, the food was incredible, huge portions, and the most interesting guests sitting on the stools around the counter. Was it 5 star dining? Certainly not, but it was good, inexpensive food, an entertaining experience, and we'd definitely go back again. The place has a formal name "Manolo & Rene Cafeteria" which you can find on google maps.

Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)
