Wine at CVS/Publix in downtown/Brickell area of Miami

How much am I looking at for a bottle of Riesling or Pinot Grigio at Publix or CVS in the Brickell area? I'm from Canada so wine is typically around $14-$20/bottle for me. I believe it is a lot cheaper in the US.

We are looking at buying 8 bottles (10% discount!) for our cruise.

Help is much appreciated :)

There is a Publix in Mary Brickell Village and they will have a larger selection than CVS.

It depends on what brand of wine you drink as to the cost.

Imported wine is going to be more expensive than domestic.

Our California wines will be cheaper here than they are for you in Canada.

Can you recommend any California brands for the two types I mentioned? I'm not much of a wine expert, I just know when I like a particular kind.

Yes you can easily find wines at those prices without a doubt.

There is an enormous election of all wines at Publix.

Just don't wast your money on Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio which now costs more than your budget anyway. People buy it now for the name.

Riesling there will be a range of wines including some from Germany.

What about California "Barefoot" Riesling? How much is a bottle of that?

Price should be between $5.99 and $6.99 per bottle and Publix carries it.

Barefoot Wines are pretty cheap.

You can also have Instacart deliver wine from Total Wine to your hotel here on Brickell. It does come with a $5.99 delivery fee plus a small tip but you will have a very large selection and the prices are better than our Publix here in Mary Brickell.

The CVS here on Brickell has a very small wine selection. The Publix at Mary Brickell has a nice wine department and there is always something on sale. You can actually view their weekly ad right on line and see what it is for the week.
