Can someone tell me if you need to sign up ahead of time for spinning classes and were there a significant amount of bikes? Also, did the bikes have clips so in other words is it worth it for me to bring my spinning shoes?

I'd love to know this as well, as I'm planning on spinning on the Legend when we go in three weeks. I'm going to pack my spinning shoes, just in case. Hope someone can help us here.

I was on Mariner Jan 04, so I can not promise things are the same, but:
No, they do not have SPD or Look compatilble pedals. Besides, why cart those shoes along, it just adds to the luggage. You will make it through the week in tennis shoes, I promise. (It does suck compared to clipless though.) As for the number of bikes, the first at sea day, there was bit of a shortage of bikes, but the # of people fell off QUICKLY the second and following days. By the last class my wife and I as well as one other guest were the only ones there. If you are going to take more than 3 classes (spin and other) sign up for the "unlmited" package as it will save you money. Hope this helps. |

How much was the unlimited package?
Thanks for the details on the spinning, too...guess I'll just leave my cycling shoes at home.
