We will be visiting Costa Rica on the Equinox. We don't like touring with large crowds, and remember when we were in Costa Rica a few years back we went on a tour with Oscar Brown there were only 4 of us which was perfect. Anyone know if he still gives tours to small groups. There are only 2 of us.

Yes, he does. We toured with him several years ago and had a fabulous time, so when booked our upcoming cruise and it included a stop in Puerto Limon, I got in touch with them for a private tour I had in mind. It's scheduled for 2/2/17 for 5 people. Jaguar Center, private chocolate factory tour and lunch. Cost is reasonable, communication has been excellent.

His sister Carol is still his email contact. Her email is: limonense03(at)yahoo(dot)com

Hi Smith6

When are you on the Equinox? We're sailing April 3rd and are also looking for a Costa Rica excursion.

p.s. We're also from Ontario :)

We just got off the March 13 Equinox sailing. We did the Aerial Tram/Canal ride with Oscar Brown. I was impressed that we got Oscar Brown for our guide. It was a nice tour however it seemed to be disorganized when we got to the rainforest. We had to wait 40 minutes to get in, then we walked in circles for another 20 minutes. The canal ride went off without a hitch, saw lots of animals. The included lunch came at 4:00 on our way back to to the ship. Oscar's sister, Carol, handles all the bookings. She does that very well, quick with all correspondence.
