Shuttle from ship at Frederiksted to Christiansted!

We were in St Croix last week and took the shuttle to Christiansted.

Give yourself plenty of time if you intend to catch a shuttle back to the ship from here!! :(

I suggest that you are ready to take a private taxi back, even though the shuttle ticket you buy in the morning is a return ticket for $16.

They kept us and many other people waiting for about 45 minutes before the shuttle left for the ship, even though there were 2 empty shuttles parked there with a sign saying they were 'on duty'. This meant that the line had built up to about 3 shuttles worth of people and there was some pushing forward to get into a shuttle, dispite there being several ladies with canes and walkers who had been waiting for longer than anyone else!

Our faith in people was restored after the first shuttle was filled with recent joiners to the line pushing forward, when a man took control and made sure that this group of ladies got on the next shuttle and told people to let them go first.
