How do I get a taxi from the port to go to Screw's Spa?

They quoted me $100 round trip.

That sounds a little excessive, I hope.

That sounds about right ($33 per person). What do you think it ought to cost for a driver to take you up there and wait for a couple hours to take your group back?

If you prefer to pay less per person, then you may look into adding more people to your group.

We hired a private taxi to take is to Trafalgar falls and visit the sulfur springs for a 2 - 2.5hr tour and the driver quoted us $100. We found another couple at the dock willing to share, so it became $25 per person -- which seemed quite fair for the fare.

We got together with a few other couples on our roll call, disembarked and negotiated with a taxi driver at the pier. $15pp round trip. We were a group of 6. Our driver waited for us at the spa. We stayed for 2 hours. Great relaxing day. This was in January 2016.

Don't be afraid to get prices from a few different drivers. The cost to enter the spa was $20pp.
