Taxi to rental car at EWR

We are arriving at the Bayonne cruiseport on 4/30 and then picking up a car at Newark airport. Will a taxi take us to the car rental area, or do we have to get dropped off somewhere else?

Which company are you renting from? I'd find their local phone number and call to get the exact address and directions. Most of the car rentals are located near an Airtrain stop, but if you're coming by taxi, you should try to get as close as possible to the rental office and not ride the Airtrain.

Budget appears to have good road access but lousy Airtrain access, so you should go there directly by taxi. However, I'd be prepared with printed directions because the airport area is very confusing and not always GPS friendly.
