Would be interested to know how people feel about Cabo. What makes it special?

We will be there for 2 days in June. What is a "not to be missed" landmark, venue, etc?

Usually I would say the whale watching but there won't be any in June. I also think a sailing trip is good. It's nice to be on the water and also sail around the Arches. We also loved a kayaking excursion we did there. We like Solomon's Landing for good food and people watching. If you want to get touristy and a little crazy Cabo Wabo can be fun. Just go to Cabo Wabo with an open mind

Since you have more time, how about a day trip to Cabo Pulmo? it is a national park and one of the only coral reefs on the west coast of North America. A very beautiful spot. While I have only gone by private car, I am sure you can find a day trip to visit.

Medano Beach
Take a water taxi, land taxi or bicycle taxi. Can also walk all around the marina to get to one end of Medano.

Medano Beach is close by land or water taxi. It's an ok beach. The sand is kind of a rough texture and the beach can be pretty crowded depending on when you go. The other beach is where The arches are. I believe the beach is called Lover's beach. A beautiful setting but it is just beach, no facilities, restaurants, etc.

I don think of Cabo as a beach port.
