Default Family ocean or connecting rooms?

We are going on the Rapsody of the Seas in January and have booked Family Oceanview for my husband myself and our three daughters 14,18 and 19. But we are now thinking it might be a better option to have 2 connecting rooms instead. Our concerns are being woken up in the middle of the night by the older two girls coming in from a fun night out as well as sharing one bathroom with three teenage daughters! We have shared the bathroom on other cruises but they were a lot younger then. We are now thinking having two rooms would be better. What is everyones thoughts and has anyone else travelled with their family that can share their experiences, any advice would be helpful as i will need to change our booking asap.

Many thanks
Shelley

QUOTE:"sharing one bathroom with three teenage daughters!"

ITS A 'NO-BRAINER' AT LEAST TWO cabins/bathrooms. With 1-bath, if I was the 'daddy' I'd be using the men's gym area facilities all the time. GOOD LUCK

We too are 5 and have booked on Rhapsody two rooms next to eachother. They are not connecting but right next to eachother.

This way you will have more space and like you said, two bathrooms!

And you and your husband can have your own space too.

I did have a look at the family rooms, but found that they were not that big.

Is there a big price difference between the two? Hope this helps

Yes--you should book 2 rooms....1 teeny cabin with all those "adult-sized" people is NO WAY to spend a vacation!

Two rooms would be ideal. I've done balcony for the adults and inside across the hall for my teens.

We also get two cabins. The family ocean views are great for families with younger kids.

We are a family of four , i compare price and if the 3rd and 4th guest is not that much more than than the 2 adult price, we choose the extra cabin, with the kids age 20 and 11 in next room , I TAKE IT!! gives hubby and myself a little adult time and 2 bathroom are always a plus, we just leave the door to the two cabins open at night hope that helps!!

Default Family suite !!!

WE ARE A FAMILY OF 5 (sometimes 6) AND ALWAYS STAY IN A ROYAL FAMILY SUITE. THIS IS THE BEST. TWO BEDROOMS TWO BATHROOMS PLENTY OF ROOM LIKE A SMALL APARTMENT. WE WERE VERY SURPRISED WITH THE PRICE DIFFERENCE WELL WORTH IT. WORTH CHECKING IT OUT BUT THESE GO VERY QUICKLY WE USUALLY BOOK THEM A YEAR IN ADVANCE.
