We have booked a table for six - second sitting. Have we made a wise move and are tables x 6 dotted all over the room both upstairs and downstairs? Are any near a window?

We recently did a world cruise on QV. 99 days. We prefer a table for two, but next to us was a table for 6. The three couples did not know each other but they got along famously. As the previous poster noted tables are scattered all over. Frankly a window pales quite soon. Miles of water...you will be far more interested in the food and the others at your table. It was fun to be at a window for the Panama and Suez Canals but otherwise I think it is of no importance. I think more of the 6 seating tables are on the lower level but I am not certain of that since I really never counted. You will have a grand time with QV.

D2 and J - thanks for your comments. You are right, it will be dark by the time we sit down for dinner at 8.30pm as we're on second sitting, and a window table will therefore make little difference and in any case the waiters will have closed the curtains! There will be far more going on in the middle of the room..............
