Default Gibralter - Walk from port to Cable

Hi

Just wondered whether anyone knew how far it is from the Port to the Cable car to walk.

We do like to walk independently, however, not if its miles and miles.

Thanks

It is a long walk. I would get the shuttle from the port . The line is long but moves quickly . This is £2.00 per person return and takes ypou to the market square .
You are able to then walk down the high street to the cable car . It will stll tale 20mins to half hour I guess. Your other alternative is getting a taxi tour at £12.00 pound per person plus entrance to caves and seige tunnals.
This was a good tour .
If you get a few of you together you can negotiate the price. This tour can be taken from dock or market place

We visited on on IOS a few weeks ago,we walked and it took us exactly 30 mins port to entrance. We got there before anyone, even the tours from our ship,as they started a bit later. There are loads of 'tours vans' at the port, the price is 12 euros, and they will take you up the rock by van, this does not include the enrtrance fees to caves, tunnels etc.We went up the cable car,and walked everywhere the cost I think was 14 or 17 euro which included everything.
