Lightbulb ? about Last Balcony Cabin with Extra Glass Panel (Voyager, Freedom Classes) <photo>

Hey all! A quick question ...

We just booked the last balcony cabin with the extra curved glass, kinda interesting so it gives a usual balcony view, but a tiny bit of 'aft' feeling as well. Anyone ever have this cabin before, or been in it, and can tell any details? Good, bad, pluses, minuses? Is it actual usable space too? Here is a photo of it...

Thanks so much in advance!

I, too, have booked one of these cabins. I am posting a similar picture, but this one is of the Mariner of the Seas ( i took it) . It doesn't look quite the same as the one you posted.

I am wondering the same as you, so hopefully we will get a response.

If nothing else, you can post when you get back and let me know what you thought of it! I am on the port side.

I hope you get some responses as we have booked the very first cabin at the front having the same type of curve looking forward. We're on Port side.
The pictures are great. Hope someone has a photo of the front cabins. We think it will be really exiting in some rough weather
I think the end ones would be great too!

Edited to say it looks like the photo in LotusB's might be the front of the ship if you look at the Freedom class closer.
If so I just got a great shot of my upcoming balcony.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, we had the last side cabin before the aft on deck 9 on Navigator once. Yes, there is about a foot more space on the balcony, not really usable as in putting a chair there, but you can see a bit of the wake as well as your open side view. Nothing special about the cabin.

We had this cabin on deck 6 on Mariner. While it was very nice and I do recommend it because of added privacy and more light/brightness streaming in, I wouldn't say that it provided any bit of an aft feeling, so please don't go into it with that expectation. Another consideration is that those side glass panels were rather dirty, in fact, they were nearly opaque. We put in a request to have them cleaned, and during one port day the window washing mechanism was outside our balcony, however the glass was never cleaned. As well, it was a very long walk from the cabin to the elevation/staircase lobby.
