Default Man Dining Room Menus

Would anyone with some extra time be willing to type out the 7 day menus for the main dining rooms on a recent NCL cruise? I have seen some of the photos others have generously posted, but it's a little hard to print out these photos. Thank you in advance.

Not trying to be flippant. But it is a lot of work to type out those menus from the photos. Maybe you could do it for the board.

Why can't you print out the photos? We did and laminated them and took them on the Dawn with us. Just print on regular paper.

On most photo storage Web sites you can enlarge the images...often by just clicking on them.

I'm just curious....why would you do this? Doesn't the ship have menus?

If you took them...for planning, wouldn't it suck if the menus changed onboard?

IMHO there's a point where "planning" should end.

No offense taken. I didn't mean to burden anyone, I know other cruise line boards on cruise critic have the menus available, was just hoping for the same from NCL.

Some of the sites require you to buy the photo. You can't print it out.

No jokes? No clever comments referring to "the MAN Dining Room"??

CC...Im surprised. All the goofball cruise critic nerds must be on cruises themselves right now!

Now that the trial on the Dawn has become permanent (other post)...maybe it will be easier to post menus, since they don't change.

I like looking at prior menus so that I can get some idea of the style of food and the variety....but I never count on having the exact same things on my actual cruise.....so any old menus are good enough for me.

Here is a link to recent menus on the Star in Alaska....good enough for this purpose...plenty big enough to read, but not so easy to print. If you have a screen capture program, you can capture the picture part of the screen and then paste it in to a word processor.

According to whom? That was the speculation of one poster, not an announcement from NCL.

I meant to ask, actually - does it make sense to print some of this stuff out to read it before we get there?

We're on the Spirit to Bermuda this Friday, but I've seen postings from other boats that are a few months old. Won't the menu be different from what we're going to see? Or do they remain mostly consistent across the line, within the year?

There are some menus here ... for example:

Note:
If'n you look closely, you'll see that it's a MAN menu:

PJames,
That's an extraordinarily old link - the menu you show for the Mexican is from maybe 4-5 yrs. ago and is now completely different.

A couple of months ago someone posted a more recent link to all the menus in the DR and specialties but I can't find it, sorry.

The menus remain the same for months at a time, or have at most minor changes made to them. When a ship has a limited sailing season from a particular port, such as the Spirit's Bermuda season from Boston, there's a pretty good chance the menus won't change significantly for that season...unless corporate happens to introduce a complete overhaul during the season.

For a second there when I read the title I thought NCL had a shipboard equivalent of the MAN CAVE I relax in at home. Perhaps I'll put that on my next cruise comment card.

Actually, two different posters posted the content of an email from NCL saying that the menu system would be changed on their future cruise to be the same as the trial. The menu items themselves may be different than the test, but it seems from the wording of the email that the Dawn will be using the new menu system for some time.

I was one that posted part of that email. It is exactly the same email that has been sent every week since the "trial" started. Tell me where in this email it says anything about how long this will continue.

Plus, Norwegian Cruise Line has revolutionized cruise dining once again, and you'll be among the first to experience it. There are brand new menus at Norwegian Dawn's two main dining rooms — Aqua and Venetian. These new menus will be available to you each day of your cruise and each restaurant has a different menu offering more of your favorite dishes. Or choose from our Chef's Daily Selections that change every day.

I took the liberty to type up the Man Menu (at least what I would like to see as a Man Menu on my cruise next year)

Lunch:
Hot and spicy Fireman
Outdoor/Nature Man (Healthy choice)

High Tea:
Metrosexual Man - well dressed and well couffied (sp?)
Your choice - pool boy or cabana boy

Dinner:
Surf and Turf for 2 - Fisherman and Hugh Jackman (from his movie AUSTRALIA)
Beefcake
BoyzIIMen - served family style with you choice of song for dessert
