Default Past guest party question

What type of cruise do they have the past guest party's on? Are they only on certain length cruises? We have been on a few CCL cruises and have never been invited to a past guest party.

Is your card gold indicating you are past guests?? It could be that Carnival doesnt have you as past guests on the booking. Is whomever booked you putting in your past guest number on the booking?

Things are changing with some of the parties, but if you have been on other Carnival cruises, you should have been invited by now.

There are so many past guests now that the past guest party is no longer something really nice to look forward to. It's more like a town hall meeting where if you are lucky you may get a free drink. If that sounds like your idea of fun, be sure and go.

Always have them on 7 night or more cruises. Didn't have them on Cruise to Nowhere nor on the 4 night cruise I went on...can't remember if they had it on a 5 night. That was quite a while ago.

That explains it. All our prior cruises were 3 and 4 day cruises. This will be our first 5 day cruise. Thanks for the info everyone

We went to the Past Guest Party on Carnival Glory last year and it was a lot of fun. We saw a video of the new fleet; lots of free drinks and snacks. Got a pin too. It was a lot of fun!!!!!

on two of my sailings there have been two separate past guest parties (one for each dinner seating) due to the high number of past guests onboard.

I definitely enjoy the party, I loved playing the quiz game onstage on the Legend, and I've found the drinks to flow VERY freely. And the appetizers are generally lovely.

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I would definitely recommend doing it your first time and judging for yourself!

We just got back from a 5 day cruise on the Fantasy July 25 - 30 and they had a pretty darn good past guest party. They had the band playing for dancing, free drinks, and they passed trays of food. Funship Freddie was also there for the fun. It was actually nicer than the Captains Reception where they only had music and drinks. It was a very nice surprise.

I went by myself to the past guest party on the Valor(7/19-26) because it was my friend's 1st cruise on Carnival. I thought it was nicely done. I had many opportunities for a drink. I also sat on an aisle seat for easy access to the servers. I prefer sauvignon blanc & when it was not on the tray of standard drinks they got it for me. The snacks were good too! They played music and one of the performers sang a few classics. They also showed the History of Carnival. I enjoyed it even though I was by myself. The funny thing was I did not know what day it was & went on the wrong day. There were also 2 other families that made the same mistake even though we all had the invites in our hands. That's what a vacation does!
