No- nothing like that!
Your TA may have a few places, or there may be some in competitions. I gained mine by posting lots of times on a UK site.
Hang in there, John!
Jo.

Tried the TA, asked Portunas, asked a senior officer we know, written to P&O....I'm in Southampton tomorrow ..I haven't tried begging yet... Main mistake is probably actually booking a cruise on her, they don't need to cultivate us!!

Try CC UK! Mine came from cruise.co uk, who were obviously offered a number of places. Perhaps the same has happened with CC?-jocap.

That's about all I didn't try, can't imagine many kindly old blokes who give stuff away at P&O!! More like the wicked witch. Xmas was fine, did a bit of visiting.

Like Jocap we got ours through a travel agent as a reward for contributing to their forum over the past few years....and of course booking cruises with them!!

I do know that on our last adventure (on Equinox pre inaugural) most of the people on board were either Travel agents or guests of...I also know that there were some who were offered places by Thomas Cook at a price!!! the Daily Mail also had some places for which they had a draw.

It might just be worth asking your travel agent if they should be offered any places to consider you ....

Thought of that one, they "said" they didn't "do" that sort of thing but gave me a link to the P&O department that dealt with such things, I contacted them but they said they couldn't help but further info would be in the next Magazine. Which was "the most travelled etc''....Done 4 cruises in the last 12 months or so with P&O & same agent.
