Default Walk between Denali Princess Lodge and McKinley Chalet Resort?

We're staying at the Denali Princess Lodge. We may want to go to the Cabin Nite Dinner Theater, which is in the back of the McKinley Chalet Lodge. Google maps seems to say that they are fairly close.

Can we walk back/forth to the McKinley Chalet? Would we be walking on sidewalk, dodging traffic on the road, or what? If not, what transportation options do we have?

We're not marathon runners, but have no big mobility restrictions.

It's slightly uphill from the Princess lodge to the Chalet and the wind was in my face......so it was much easier getting back (downhill, wind assisted) to the Princess. That said, it's not all that far, but it does "look" closer than it actually is. No mobility problems, should be no trouble.

P.S. Forgot to add - there is a sidewalk.....

The McKinley Chalet hill is quite steep! From the front/lobby area of the hotel to the back of the hotel (where Cabin Nite is) requires either walking or taking the hotel grounds shuttle. From Princess to the Chalet is not a problem, but that HILL is!!!

There is a shuttle bus that picks you up right at the lodge.

Countrygal52,

You're saying that there is a Cabin nite shuttle bus that picks you up at the Princess lodge?

Or that a shuttle bus picks you up at the McKinley Chalet lodge ticket office and carries you into the grounds to the building where the dinner theater is located?
