My wife and I are planning to cruise from New York to San Fransisco - Jan 12/2010 on Queen Victoria. This cruise seems to be very well booked and we have been placed on a wait-list (508th) for early dining and are currently booked for the 8:30 sitting. Our previous experience on a Queen Mary TAC last year was with early dining - which allowed plenty of time for other activities, including all the great shows that were put on each night. Since the early sitting is obviously the most popular on this cruise I was curious to know what the disadvantages might be for the last sitting?

The only real disadvantage is that dinner ends so late...around 10-10:30 or so....Late seating shouldn't interfere with shows, tho....they never make you choose between eating and being entertained!
