Default One thing you like about Carnival...
With all of the recent negative Threads being posted about Carnival, I thought maybe we should have just one that solicites "One thing you like about Carnival", even though I have been known to present the "other side" and be somewhat the "Anti Cheerleader" I will start off with the one thing I like is...wait of it... Warm Melting Chocolate Cake. Ta da. That stuff is yummy. Please in the spirt of staying positive, just post the one thing you like. No negativity on this thread.

Nice idea for a thread.


I like afternoon tea.
We always do late dinner seating, so it is a while before dinner.
A cup of tea, a little cakey something and some nice music...

Love the waterslides! It's the one thing I always missed on RCCL - though I think some of their ships do have them (?), the ones I have been on did not.

The bang for the buck. When using the ES, you cant beat the value. Especially when departing from NY. Other lines are always hundreds more and often they are less days to. And believe me, I always check the compititions prices.

I like my balcony, the food, meeting new people, most of the ports, the spa and exercise room. The decor of the ship, the free drinks at Captains night, and the free party for past cruisers. We enjoy the Karaoke too. DH this time will enjoy the outdoor movie at night, we've never been on a ship with this feature.

We are comfortable on Carnival Ships...just the general relaxed atmosphere and laid back people. No reason to go elsewhere unless it would be itinerary.

The friendliness of all the staff. I remember checking in on my Carnival Destiny cruise in Feb. When the lady saw the gold card she said "welcome home".

on my last cruise on the carnival liberty i was preggo, and i was treated extra special. the wait staff played with my belly, and our room stewart even showed extra attention.
i think carnival staff is always the best

The staff. Just the right amount of attention...Enough to feel pampered, no so much as to feel overwhelmed. Carnival is my favorite cruise line by far.
