Default Question about bringing bottled water on board

Does RCCL let people bring a case of bottled water on board? Not alcohol, just water!

As hundreds can atest on multiple threads on this subject, no problemo. Soda or water is usually acceptable. We take ours on in the market plastic bags and set them right on the conveyor. Only a couple of people have reported certain ports objecting, but we've never seen that.

Geez, are you having a bad day? Lighten up, and if you can't answer politely, DON'T.

Yes, OP, you can bring water.

I was under the impression that this is not being asked often. I have noticed people talk about alcohol all the time but I have not noticed threads talking about water. Yes-I could have searched but the search function sometimes does not return the exact results I was hoping for. I do not think this is a very nice response at all. Just do not post if you do not want to help!!

I concur. If no question was asked more than once, this board would no longer exist and we might all be accomplishing real work right now

May be you are having a bad day. How rude is this? Just because you have posted so much here do not give you the rights to laugh at me like that! Yes I am that SOME PEOPLE and just do not post if you do not want to help. This gives very bad impression to people who are new to the board.

Here's the perfect answer. INstead of lugging all that heavy water, bring one empty bottle and fill it up on board. The water from the tap is as 'clean' if not cleaner that the water you've been suckered into buying.

Actually, it's not safe for you to refill the same bottle each day with water, no matter how 'clean' the water is that's coming out of the tap. I've seen this time and time again on the news. There are bacteria that get into the bottle from your mouth.
I would suggest washing out the bottle between re-fills.

You are absolutely correct. I use a paba free sport bottle every day at the gym and then take it to work with me. Whenever my dishwasher runs, the bottle goes in there. Also if anyone uses the water bottles that come by the case at the grocery store, some are not safe if left in the sun and even if not left in the sun should be washed out with soap and hot water often.

I usually take a sport bottle with a wide neck with me on the cruise and refill it from glasses of ice water at the buffet. I also take a tiny bottle of dish detergent and wash it out every now and then on the cruise too. The water itself on the ship is excellent.

Some folks find it more convenient to take bottled water on. Nothing wrong with that if you prefer it - shouldn't have any problem getting it on board.

Thank you and good suggestion. I do plan to bring couple water bottles with us to fill with ice but also thought it will not hurt to have a few bottled water on hand and just grab it if we are in a hurry.

I don't think I'll like the ships water, ice, ok, it's mixed with alcohol and I won't care at that point. But I plan on bringing a case onboard (water) for our cruise.

I appreciate it when questions are revisited because
it verifies whether information is still valid,
and additional information is obtained such as washing plastic bottles,
leaving plastic bottles in the sun, etc.

The OP's subject line was very clear, so people who were not interested,
had a choice not to open thread.
