WOOT! From Balc. Guarantee to 8E Lido AND OBC!
We were booked early saver in a balcony guarantee (from a canceled booking - we were able to do this due to a very nice supervisor when no early saver fares were left on the new booking
 ). I noticed a very low past guest rate with a free upgrade to 8E that was less than our balcony guarantee rate. We ended up on the Lido deck, midship and also received $40 OBC.  Of course we lose the chance to end up in a 9A, 11 or 12, but that also means we don't end up over the disco or piano bars. Everything I have read on here from other posters who have had cabins on the Lido said it was very quiet, so I am happy .Thank you Carnival!
