Question Chilling champagne for MDR

We plan to bring a bottle of champagne on board to drink in the main dining room with dinner on the first night. Can we take it there ahead of time to have it chilled. (We have booked the anytime dining option if that make a difference.)

just buy the same brand that Carnival has on their site for sale and have the wait servvice swap it out. We've done that several times.

I'd prefer to keep it in my control and never thought about taking an expensive bottle to turn over.

Ask the room steward for a bucket and ice, and ice it down that afternoon. Then take it to the MDR and they'll put it in a nice metal ice bucket for serving.

Thanks. An obvious solution that I never thought of.

The Carnival Champagne should not be served cold, hot, or whatever. It might be good for paint remover but not to drink.

Take a decent Champagne, Ice it in your cabin and take it with you to the dining room.

Default Ask the steward..on getting to your cabin

for a large white (beer) bucket of ice.. I sit mine in the shower, as it sweats..but does the trick b4 dinner..then they will keep it on ice at your table
