Question Which has more floor space?

We are looking at booking a trip on the Spirit with our 2yo son in a balcony room. I was wondering which has more floor space, a room with two twins or one queen? We would be taking his 'travel bed' to use and would appreciate whatever extra floor space there is available.

Two twins make a queen. But I am sure you will find more floor space with a queen....

Either the two beds are apart or you can ask them to push them together. in either case it is the same amount of room. actually I think you would have more space with them separated. but you can always change it when you get there anyway to do what works best for you.

Two twins are moved together to make the queen. So....moving the beds may be to your advantage just not in the queen style. Imagine a square....You could move the twins if enough space permits into the left & top side of a square and then you will have room for the babys portable on the ride side maximizing the space.

this is an old photo...they have redecorated the cabins. the layout is the same. the most room is between the beds and the sliding door...just have the room stewards move the little table out. all the balcony cabins are the same.

You may want to just try to let him sleep on the sofa in the room. We did that with our daughter on Carnival Glory, when she had just turned 2, and it worked out fine. We had brought a little Dora sofa for her to sleep on, but it turned out to be unnecessary.

Since you are wanting a balcony romm try to get 10686. It is by the kids area next to the kids pool so some people wouldn't want it, but would be perfect for you with a 2 year old. It is bigger than the other balconeys because it is on the end and was added last fall during the remodeling. It isn't any fancier but there is more floor space. Have fun!

Bed size really has nothing to do with floor space IMO. Floor space has to do with square footage.
