Changing Single beds to Double bed on Jade

Counting the days till our Black Sea Cruise out of Athens on Jade at the end of this month. I note that our stateroom has two single beds but says that they can be changed to a double. Does anyone know how we get this sorted and is it still comfortable as a double?

Actually, put together the bed is queen size. Our bed was already made up as a queen when we arrived in our oceanview cabin on the Jade last January. EXTREMELY comfortable. I had been prepared to ask for an eggcrate topper, but it was not needed for our 21 days (B2B) on the Jade! If for some reason your beds are still made up as twins when you arrive, simply leave a note on the bed for your cabin steward and they will be changed to one bed when the room is turned down for the night.

Bring bungee cords to lash the beds together. So they won't come apart at the most inopportune time. But watch out when the beds snap together it may catch a body part

ours are usually always together too, but after reading a post about having more room to MOVE (inside cabin) we might try them apart for a few nights.....but just ask and they are HAPPY to do it....out of the last 4 cruises with NCL i never had a prob getting things taken care of with the stewards...other lines i cant same the same
