Default Queen Victoria Q3 suite midship photos

Just returned from a lovely cruise on Queen Victoria: beautiful decor and excellent service.
The sitting area and bedroom feel a bit cramped in the Q3 suite, due to the presence of a structural column right in the middle of the suite. But I have been forewarned about this, hence not disappointed. Great spacious balcony. See photos.

Sho,

Thanks for posting. Interesting to see some pictures, other than on the Cunard site. Glad you had a great time.

I had a Q4 suite on the QV last summer on the Norway cruise. It was at the stern of the ship (truly stern...overlooking the back ). While it was great to view the fjords it was incredibly inconvenient in terms of getting to the elevator that takes you to the Queens Grill. I think you were smart in getting a mid ship cabin as it located in a more convenient spot.

Are you sure you were on the QV, we have been on her twice now, I would estimate the time of walking from the stern to the bow as being around 60 seconds, less to midships,

Pleased you had a good time sho, and nice photos, maybe Bib will show us his

We had a Q6 on Queen Victoria in May. To be honest, looking at the photos of the Q3, not much in it imho....

Navigating the ship was a real pain.

Rob...60 seconds from stern to bow? All l can say is that you must have been motoring!

I am most certainly not meaning to be critical here, the ship has her own charm, and one day maybe we will sail on her again.....our voyage was made special due to some of the QE2 crew aboard that we knew and had great pleasure in meeting once more.

I do rather walk fast, we were toward the bow and dinner was at the stern, on deck 2 the distance is not that far.

The ship has a great charm, we loved the ship for short voyages, prefer QM2 for the longer ones.

still some qe2 crew onboard

Well QV is some 964 feet long (externally), so lets say 900 feet in 60 seconds.

90 ft/min equates (I think) to about 10 miles per hour - quite a fast walk!
