Default Puerto Rico Radisson?

Has anyone recently stayed at the Radisson Ambassador Hotel & Casino in San Juan? Any reviews out there? Thanks

We stayed in the Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. It was a beautiful hotel and the beach was gorgeous!

We are staying there in February... via Hotwire. I understand your request for opinions of this hotel. The reviews on TripAdvisor range from very good to very bad... so I personally still am wondering what we are in for..
Has anyone out there stayed at the Radisson lately and could help us out?

Not sure what you consider recently, we stayed there in 2004, and it was a lovely hotel. I was a little upset when we checked in at 11:00 pm to find our room had a King sized bed, when I had specifically requested twin beds. Complained to the front desk but was told all twin rooms were gone, we checked in too late. Got a cot about midnight delivered to the room. But the next morning, we were moved to a room on the Club floor that was absolutely magnificent, with two queen sized beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the beach, and lots of shops/stores/restaurants along the same street. They had a tour desk. And the Marriott was just a couple blocks down the same street. For the price we paid, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. All the other hotels were wanting in the $200 per night range, and we got the room at the Radisson for $99 per night.

I haven't looked at the reviews on tripadvisor, but you have to ultimately decide if you want to stay there. Anything that any of us say, is only our opinion. I personally would not pay $200-300 per night for a hotel room.
The only place I have ever paid $250 for hotel room was in Venice Italy. And I kept kicking myself the whole 3 day stay.

To be totally truthful, the Radisson was probably the best feature of our 3 day stay in Puerto Rico. We were not impressed with the island. Hope you have a better trip there than we did!
