Question public outside sitting areas on Magic

We are sailing on the Magic this Saturday and will be staying in an outside cabin. I have found out there are no chairs on the promenade deck like there are on many ships.

Does anyone know if the public deck areas on the stern of the ship on decks 7 and 8 have chairs?

Or does anyone know any quiet place to sit and read a book and enjoy the sea air if you don't have a balcony cabin.

Thanks for your help and have a great next cruise.

I believe there are chairs on deck 7. The aft areas on both deck 7 and deck 8 are nice and quiet, as few people know about them. To get to them, you have to walk through the cabin corridor and out through the back doors - I don't think there are stairs from deck 9 above - so most people never find them.

Thanks for the reply. I found them when I was looking at plans of the ship. We have been on a couple of ships that had public areas available near the back of the ship that we used when we had outside cabins on those ships. Some had chairs and some didn't.

Have a great next cruise.

Deck 4 (DCL's promenade deck) has chaise lounges all around. I often find my husband sleeping there.

There are stairs down from deck 9, that comes out right near the deck 8 door. These stairs are right inside the starboard exit of Topsiders. We used them a lot, as we had a Navigator's Verandah deck 8 stateroom right near the stairs.

These chairs are one of the greatest places to relax ouit of the sun. And there are more than enough. I use to go down to deck 4 to read early in the morning and watch the joggers/walkers circle deck 4.

Thanks again for the information. I suspect my wife might end up finding me sleeping out on one these chairs some afternoon.

Have a great next cruise.
