We have been to Xel-Ha, but not on an excursion. We spent a wonderful day there. There are many things to do, such as floating down a huge river, different water sports, like snuba, swimming with dolphins. There are hammock and nice places to relax on the beach. There were two restaurants, lockers and changing rooms. I don't know what RCC offers, but I think that you would enjoy your day there.

Hola Poca,

You'll probably have better luck with this question on the RCCL or Calica boards. Good Luck.

We've done Xel Ha, but not through the cruise line.

I do however attribute the crowded lazy river swim with some of the worst gastric discomfort I've ever had in my entire life - it went on for days. I'm sorry to tell you but just feel strongly that's what happened. I really regret doing that portion of the trip a few years back.

I have been to Xal Ha twice (2000 & 2002) during an all-inclusive resort excursion. I had a really nice time on both occasions. The lazy river can also be snorkeled (which is what I did). At the end of the river, you can see where the fresh water and salt water meet. Most of the fish are at the end. There are also hammocks and other activities there. Their website is http://www.xelha.com if you want to check it out.
