I loved Silk Harvest. They have a very diverse Asian menu -- everything from Chinese, to Thai to sushi. It is the type of place where the more people that you have dining with you the more you would it enjoy it because there are so many options that you want to try everything. I don't think it is as popular as the other two specialty dinner restaurants. However, it was a very nice change of pace for us.

We never went did not look very good, but through out the cruise we kept looking in and at the peak dinner times, the place was empty.

Hi, my family and I tried the Silk Harvest when we went and had a great time. We got a few amused looks from the waiters when we were trying to eat with the chopsticks (eating sushi with a fork is impossible). I really liked the family style aspect that ment that we got to sample what everyone else had ordered. I especially liked the asian ice cream dessert although the sushi was really good too. I hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise.

We made a point of trying every specialty restaurant during our stay on the Solstice back in April. Silk Harvest was my personal favorite from food quality to menu choices to service. There was only two of us and we're used to the take-out version of Chinese so we ordered a couple dishes that we were familiar w/. Our waiter was very helpful in recommending what goes well with what we liked and even ended up bringing us an extra entree b/c he felt it went well w/ what we ordered. I don't think it matters how many people are in your party as even w/ 2, we were served communal bowls meant for sharing.

It was my favourite restaurant on that ship. Loved it.

Is it possible to get a table for two in Silk Harvest? Photographs make it look like it has long tables where you are seated with others and eat family style, a form of dining which I loathe.

Yes, we had a table to ourselves. I'm not even sure if we were asked about dining with others in any of the specialty restaurants.
