Default Post cruise excursions Tampa.

Hello does any one of any post cruise excursions in Tampa? There are none listed on Carnivals website. We are cruising on the Legend in February 2010. Our flight does not leave until 6:00PM, we dont want to sit in an airport all day.
Thanks for your help.

If you can find something to do with your luggage...the Aquarium is right there next to the cruise port and is really neat to see. You can also do dolphin watch tours from the Aquarium. Also - Lowery Park Zoo (one of the highest rated in the country...esp for kids) is not far either and easily accessible by cab.

Sometimes its worth it to rent a car for the day because it carries the extra benefit of giving you a place to stow the luggage and you can always drop it at the airport later. If I had a whole day in Tampa to fill I'd head for Busch Gardens.

cool bowling alley in Channelside right next to the port. Also trolleys run back & forth to YBOR City, the old Tampa Cigar District with shops, theater etc.

We are cruising on the Legend in 3 weeks and I asked this question a while back. Carnival does not offer any excursions in Tampa. You can, however, do any of the things others have listed.
