I think you need to be more specific. If you are looking for estimated costs for the shore excursions it all depends on what you plan to book and where you are going. Please think through exactly what information you are looking for and be more specific with your questions(s).

A cruise covers your accomodation, your food in the main dining room and buffet, kids activities during the standard hours, basic entertainment in the various lounges and the transportation from port to port.

What you will pay extra for will vary from cruiseline to cruiseline. This usually includes: gratuities - generally about $10/day/person; drinks - all alcoholic drinks; all sodas, juice, but not milk; gambling; arcade games for the kids; specialty restaurants; guided shore excursions; spa treatments; shopping on board. As a family of 4 who like shore excursions, but not alcohol, our bill above and beyond the regular cruise fare is usually $200-$300/day. Some people spend more and some spend less.

Thank you for that information! We are a family of four and it is good to know about what to expect on average...We are not drinkers or gamblers...So, that should help

Most folks (especially 1st timers) will spend about 1/2 of the total cost of the cruise in "extras"---excursions, souveniers, photos, transportation to and from the ship and excursions, tips....stuff like that. Just put those "extra" costs into your budget and plan for them!
