Default Marriott Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort

Anyone have experience with this hotel in San Juan? Would be interested in knowing if there are resturants and shopping in the area. Also understand it has a casino? Sports lounge?

Thanks,
Dingus2

Smile Me too!

I want to know too. We have this hotel booked for our February cruise on the Victory. It came recommended from a friend who has sailed out of San Juan a few times. Price wise it seems comparable to most of the other hotels. The friend said it was clean, friendly, a nice hotel. Her favorite so far.

My DS is booked at this hotel for his Victory cruise on Oct. 25, 2009.

He is traveling with a group, including the TA. The TA has booked this hotel for them all, so I am assuming it is a full amenity hotel. I went online to check it out, and it looks really good.

Wish I were going.

My husband and I stayed here last October for a short vacation. It's a nice hotel, good beach, and decent pool. If I remember correctly, there were 2 restaurants and a snack bar in the lobby. The food was bit pricey though. There's a Denny's within walking distance if you want a less expensive option. There was a small casino with slots and a few table games and a bar in the lobby. On the weekends, the bar is the local hang out spot and there was salsa bands and dancing which was fun to watch. Please be aware that the hotel is very close to airport so you can hear the airplanes as they fly overhead.

That's all I can remember but check out the Ports of Call section or TripAdvisor for more recent opinions.
