Talking just back Amazing!!

Hi everyone just got back from Alaska and we had the best trip Thanks to all of you from Cruise critic for your help without this forum our trip would have not been the same. I meet so many people that went to Alaska and didn’t do any research before they went and most of them did not have a good time, so my advice to all is learn as much as you can so you will be prepared.

A few details about our trip- celebrity Millennium 09/11/09- 09/18/09

We did have the toursaver book so almost everything we did was from that.

Flew into Anchorage on 09/10/2009 spent the night at the Clarion suites very nice the shuttle from the airport was great but if you are taking the 6:45 train to Seward not very organized they had 40 people scheduled so if we wanted to use the shuttle we would have had to get on it at 4:50am and wait till the train station open at 5:45 am so we took a taxi we had 10 people in our party so we took two taxis and it cost under 10.00 per cab. The train was the best you can walk around stand outside and the views were amazing. I would take this anytime.

Seward- went to the Sea life Center

Hubbard Glacier – one word Amazing we met people that have been their 7 times and never had such a great view, so we felt very blessed.

Juneau – went to Glacier Gardens nice views. Then we walk around town great weather again! A good thing about going in September was the sales in every store.
Skagway- rented a car from Avis and went to emerald lake this was a great way to see so much we ate at the cinnamon Cache very yummy and we used Murray’s guide I felt so smart in our group having that with us. Great weather again.

Icy Strait – just walk around relaxed a little this reminded us of a private Island like in the Caribbean.

Ketchikan- we did 2 tours here first we went on a nature tour with Ketchikan independent tours it was fun we saw 4 seals and some eagles. Then we went on the Bering Sea tour this really was the best tour we had a great time it was so worth the money. This was the only shore day that we had rain but even then it wasn’t bad.

Vancouver- we stay 2 nights here very nice city.

If anyone would like to ask any question I will try to answer them.

Thanks again for all your help!!
