Luggage Tags Just Arrived

Well I read the thread about requesting luggage tags on line, so I did and we just got them. I requested them about 16 days prior to sailing and when I went on line 3 days later it said it was too late to request tags. The tags arrived 3 days after requesting them. So sitting in front of me are our tags with our names, cabin number, ship name and that we are platinum members. So ya think I'm excited to sail one week from Sunday??? I think YES!!!!

We just got our tags today too. We are a week after you. Can't wait. It has been three years since our last cruise and have missed it a lot. Waking up in the morning to a new port or just resting by the pool with an umbrella drink. I love looking over the railing at the open sea and leaving all the headaches of driving, work and the everyday craziness behind.

I just ordered our luggage tags to be mailed to Ontario, Canada. Do you think I left it too late?

how do you order your luggage tags? i couldnt find it on the website..

Thank you any way- but i just read another post and made a request for them to be mailed.

We use a TA. Does he have to request the tags or can we? He usually requests our paper docs and tells us not to worry about it since everything goes to them and they bring everything to us since they are good friends and we see them often anyway.

if you get the paper doc's your luggage tags will be in there..

I'd like to know too. I couldn't find it either. I've already completed my online check-in and printed set sail pass and didn't see anything about ordering luggage tags.

Underneath where you had to click to print your sail pass was another button to click on to order your luggage tags. You just have to type in your address where the luggage tags can be sent and that is it! Hope this helps!

since i already printed set sail pass, does that mean i can't order them? Because if I go and try to print them again, there is no button to click to order luggage tags, and it wasn't there before either.

I went back in after i finished my on-line boarding & was able to order tags.

We had gotten paper docs with luggage tags. However, after receiving the docs & tags, we upgraded cabins. I had to redo the Setsail Pass to reflect the new cabin number. I found the button for ordering Luggage Tags, so I hit the button & added my address & am waiting for the tags to come. If they are not here today, hopefully Monday. We still got a little over 3 weeks!

Does anyone know the earliest you are able to order the tags? Wife and I are 8 months out for our May cruise.
Been searching the RCI site for info, found it once but can't relocate it. Must be brain fade.

We sail on FOS in 44 days and do not have the button yet for luggage tags. I will keep looking though. Maybe you need to be close to your sail date.

You can go back to the very first page of on-line check in and there should be a tab for you to click on (small tab, bottom right hand corner of FIRST page...where they have the names of the people you have on your booking) that says "request luggage tags".
It's cracking me up that even though I was the OP, I still haven't received my tags but others have....karma, one heck of a boomerang!!!

Royal Caribbean's Luggage Tag program conveniently lets qualified guests request their personalized ship tags before leaving home. Each LuggageTag Mailer contains eight (8) colorized tags, specific to your ship, sailing date and stateroom assignment. Ordering your luggage tags in advance, greatly speeds up your boarding experience, allowing you to enjoy more time onboard your cruise vacation.

Eligibility Requirements:
Guests must have their cruise documents available and have an assigned stateroom in their name. Or, if booked under a Guarantee, have been advised on their stateroom assignment and are in possession of their paper cruise documents. Requests for Royal Caribbean's Luggage Tag Mailer must be made no later than 14 days prior to the sailing date. If the guest is eligible to request luggage tags, they will be able to complete the request via Online Check-in (on the status page) or Countdown to Cruise (on the Guest Documentation tab).

Additional Details:
Guests who take advantage of this program can expect to receive their ship luggage tags by mail within several business days. Guests who receive paper documents and have an assigned stateroom will find their personalized ship luggage tags inside their booklet.

Guests who do not qualify for this program can secure their ship luggage tags from our Porters at the pier.
