Our family is planning our first cruise next summer...five days on the Carnival Glory to Canada. I'm having trouble deciding on a cabin that would best suit us, and hope someone can help.
My kids will be 2 and 5 at the time of the cruise. I'd prefer that neither of them sleep on a bunk bed that is up high off the ground. That limits us to the Family Oceanview rooms. My concern about the Family Oceanview rooms is that they are on deck 11, and one of my boys is prone to motion sickness. I was told he'd be most comfortable on a low deck, mid ship. If you and your family have cruised on this ship, could you please offer your suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

You won't be in the cabin all the time, and truly, if it's rough, you'l feel it everywhere.
I'd talk to your pediatrician and find a medication to prevent motion sickness. If the deck 11 cabin is mid-ships, it won't be to bad, really! The bunks usually have a railing.... |
