Talking Inspiration review

We were on a 5 night September 26 through October 1. Embarkation: We arrived at the pier about noon to a long line. The line moved very quickly. We were on the ship and eating luck about 12:45.
Cabin: We had U115. Our room connected with our DD (26) and was awesome!!!! We will defiantly book this cabin again. It was wonderful. Our steward was Wendell and he was invisible. We would leave and our room was magically cleaned and our ice bucket and cooler was filled.
Muster Drill: I did not understand why we started in one location then went on deck to the lifeboat. It seemed like it made it last longer. Oh well it was done and time to get on with the cruise.
Shows: This cruise was for relaxing, so we did not go to a lot of the shows. The ones we went to were really good.
CD: Skip was great! A lot of fun, without being over the top.
Food: The food was great. I have always had cruises where I really did not like anything on the menu some nights. Not this cruise. This was some of the best food I have had in my 20+ cruises. We also had Ronaldo as our waiter. He has worked for Carnival for 12 years and the experience shows. We also had George the Greek. He was a little over the top loud for our taste.
Ship: The ship was clean and looked really good. We prefer the smaller ships, so it was perfect for us. Carnival comfort bedding is so comfortable.
Casino: Lots of penny, 2 cent, and 5 cent slots. No big win, but we did break even.
Ports: GC we took a short taxi tour and went to 7 mile beach.
Cozumel: We had Gerry for the day and got to see it all. Wonderful! This was our 3rd time using Gerry and he never disappoints.
Summery: This was our best cruise in a long time. It was our first Carnival cruise in 10 years. After this cruise I can guarantee you we will cruise with them again very soon.

Thank you for the review. You don't happen to have a copy of the Capers, do you?

Thanks for the review.

My wife and I cruise on Inspiration for the 2nd time on 12/10. Tough to resist cheap cruise fare when you don't have to fly. Your review makes me wish I was going tomorrow.

We really enjoyed our last trip on the Inspiration as well! We were really disappointed we didnt get George the Greek, have had him before and thought he was a blast. The other MD did not impress and appeared to be trying to be like George, didnt work well for us. We have only sailed on the Fantasy class, so we dont have the larger ships to compare it to, while I wud love to take a longer cruise on a larger ship, we have always had great cruises, so no complaints. Glad you enjoyed your first Carnival cruise in 10 yrs!

Thanks, Vicki!

I love the Inspiration. She was my first Carnival ship. Sailed from NOLA on a 7 day. I've been back on her several time since...

Max Circus - we're sailing on 12/10 too. See you on board. Our roll call is almost non-existent but there are a few of us going.

Default Us too!

I too am sailing on 10 Oct. One week from today. Wohoo! This is our third Carnival cruise after the Ecstasy and the Fascination. We have never had a bad Carnival cruise. We have three cabins on the main deck. We are a group of 10. I can't wait and it is so good to hear that the food is still great. We ALWAYS eat in the dining room. If I go on a cruise I wanted to be waited on. You can count on me in the karaoke!

Hi Kicia - My wife and I were just talking about the low turnout (so far) to the roll call. I see you're from Indiana. My wife is originally from Indiana also - South Bend.
