Welcome to Cruise Critic.

The place to find people cruise with you is the Roll Calls. On the main menu, scrolldown t the Roll Calls section. Click on Princess Roll Calls. This will give you a list of Princess ships. Click on Caribbean Princess. Then find the thread for your sailing.

When you get on the ship, there will be a meeting the first day for the childrens program.

In addition to joining your roll call, your daughter will be able to participate in the kids program on Princess. They segregate by age and she will be with teenagers.
It would be a good idea to take her to the kids club the afternoon you board and get her signed up - if there are any other teens on that sailing, it will be one of the more logical places to find them.

As GGPrincess has just stated.
You will enjoy your vacation knowing that your daughter is under the care of the Princess 'Kids Club' amongst those of her own age group.
Also tell her to be polite and respectful towards young crew members but not overfriendly. Not to accept any offers of parties in crew quarters.

Caribbean Princess is a big ship, there are bound to be other teens on your sailing. As mentioned above, make sure you go with her to the sign-up session on the first day. Info should be left in your cabin, if not you can ask your steward or call the pursar's desk. Princess runs a full program for teens, she should make friends quickly.

Peg, CB has really nice teen facilities - video games, music, movies, dance floor. My daughter and I were on CB twice (she was 13 then 14) and she had a ball. It seems that the older teens are not so much into the organized activities and use the teen room less.

As suggested, go as soon as possible on the ship and sign up your daughter. Be sure she goes the first night. That's where they seem to meet up with who ever they will be hanging out with. And do join your roll call in the roll call forums.

Also, you can call Princess and ask how many teens are currently booked on your sailing. They track the numbers in each age group. So you can get a rough idea right now how many kids there will be. There probably not be as many in Feb as when we've sailed but there will certainly be enough. All it takes is 1 friend.

Have fun!
