You can also get a whole pizza wrapped to take to your cabin. Pizza and a bucket of beer on the balcony.....Life is Good!

Hi,

Although room service is free, you should always give a dollar or two as a tip.

Enjoy your cruise & beer.

I agree, two buckets would offset the weight issue and create a much better balance to carry them to the cabin!

A little known fact as well is that the beer and pizza have no calories once they cross the threshold to your cabin.

No. They have the beer police standing in passenger hallways preventing people from taking alcohol to their rooms. Also, ship officers knock on doors every night at curfew to ensure that all passengers are in their respective cabins.

We actually told one of our friends this before they took their first cruise and they totally believed it. Needless to say, they were not happy with us when they returned...

I do it every cruise. And the steward will keep them iced for you too! There is nothing like a cold beer on the balcony of a cruise ship late at night.

That's a good thing too. Because many, many, pizza, and beer has crossed mine

Since I am new to Carnival,,tell me how many bottles in the bucket, will it stay iced for you if you leave for say and hour, and can any beer be in the bucket (I love Grolsch)?

An entire pizza and a bucket of beer, that's like being in a floating heaven.

The further you have to take them from the Lido deck, the fewer the calories!

It is basically the size of an Ice cream pail and you buy it with 4 beer in it but you can put 5 or 6 maybe. I am not sure if they serve Grolsch on the ship - I have never seen it but then I have never ordered it. When in doubt Labatts Blue is great. Have a great cruise - wish I was cruising soon but the air fare kills us.

If you choose to take back more than one bucket just have the bartender open a few - use an empty to pry the cap off the others.

Floating heaven indeed.

Oh yeah...that beer bucket is also the perfect size for icing down the champagne. Our room steward always made sure our beverages were iced up and the ice bucket full.

Or just crack them open by using the edge of the table in the cabin. I mean what could possibly go wrong?
