Default Balcony on ventura/Azura

Can anybody tell me if the balconies on A .B. & C decks overlook the balconies below them ? I have been given the impression that balconies on D or E are overlooked and are therefore not so private...Thankyou

Only partial C and all D can be overlooked, E balconies are all fully covered.
That being said, C are our favourites as they are double the size of those above and are also bigger than the De-Luxe balconies.

C deck were our favourite as they are the biggest....half is overlooked but the half nearest the window is overhung so a welcome bit of shade if its really hot!! we in turn overlooked the balconies on D deck but not E deck.

Try & search for a picture, there is one on here somewhere to do with a query with the beams/obstructions in the aft cabins. Not ventura but same type.
Found it...http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...87446912NZQSdC

Here is a photo from my Ventura album taken from my A deck balcony looking down on C and D balconies which can be viewed by people above.

Many thanks,
Do I assume correctly that it is the balconies that are bigger on deck c and even bigger on D, or are the balonies same size and its the cabins which are bigger?
Thanks.
Ann.

I think most of the cabins the OP refers to are aft.

On Libralass41's photo you are viewing all of D decks balcony, but only part of C decks. There is part of C's balcony under the overhang of the decks above, hence C has the bigger balcony, but D has the bigger de-luxe cabin, which has a "seperate" sitting area, 2 TV's and also a bath tub. But they are quite a bit higher priced. All the standard balcony cabins are the same size, but the balconys are half the size of those on C deck.
Hope that helps.

Having had a C deck cabin with balcony on Ventura might I suggest if the size of cabin is important to you then choose a D deck cabin.... but if the size of balcony is important to you then choose a C deck cabin....we were quite happy with the size of the cabin and more than happy with the size of the balcony which was half overhung and half overlooked.....absolutely fine for us on our Transatlantic cruise as the overhung section provided shelter when it was windy and shade if it was too hot !!! the outer section gave us the sunbathing area!! We had the best of both worlds !!

P&O's Ventura and Azura share the same hull/design as many Princess ships.

thanks for the info. I researched and found out the answer to my question

You just never know these days as Princess is sending some of their ships to Australia and other areas.

But Ventura is not a old ship transferred from elsewhere though. She entered service built new in Italy in April 2008 - 116,000 tons. Similar to Grand class Princess ship.
