Default Just back from FASCINATION cruise! Ask away!

My family and I just returned from our Fascination cruise! I haven't started my review yet, as we are still unpacking from the trip.

If you have any questions that need answered, please ask away. I'll try to sit down and do my review on Sunday afternoon.

Briefly, the cruise was OK. Not one of our favorites, but better than working!
More to come....

Formal night on our 5-day (Sat-Thurs) was on Sunday, the first at sea day. The 2 musicians in the casino lounge could not carry a tune in their back pocket! Awful! As was the Phillipino band onboard!

What did you do in Nassau? We have been several times and are tired of the same ole thing! We were really just thinking about sitting at a bar and having a few drinks. Is there anywhere we could do this AND see the ocean??

Was the ship well maintained or showing its age? How was your cruise director?

I went on the Fascination cruise back in April. Senor Frogs was right in port good drinks. If you are looking for something with more of a local flare, I did not see any close to the port.

We left the ship and walked (about 10 blocks) to the "Pirates of Nassau" museum. It was really neat, but a little expensive at $12.50pp. Then we shopped on the way back to the ship (too hot for our 3-yr old grandson).

I thought that the ship was in fine condition! Saw no problems at all. Our neighbors beside our cabin had trouble with their TV, but it was fixed in no time.

As for the Cruise Director...not good! He was one of the worst we've ever had! His name is Felipe, from Brazil, and constantly goes around saying "WOO HOO!". It gets pretty annoying by the middle of the cruise.
