Smile Boarding Pass on Back to back cruise?

We are doing our first back to back next week on the Sapphire(can hardly wait). My question is do I give them both boarding passes when we check in or do I have to check in again on the second leg of the cruise? Thank you in advance for your help.

give them the first boarding pass. once onboard check at the purser's desk. there was a notice in the patter near the end of the first cruise as to what to do at the beginning of the second cruise. one of the things was bring your boarding pass to the desk.

We just used the 1st boarding pass to embark. Then on the last night they delivered to our room new cruise cards and 'in transit' passes in case you wish to leave the ship.

The only thing you really have to do is go to the gangway sometime and they ding you off/on the ship.

They do close your onboard account and open a new one for the next leg.

Have fun!!

You will need to go through immigration when you ding off. If you are not getting off the ship early on turnaround then they gather those on a B2B about 10am, after everyone else has gone, and walk them through immigration as a group.

The Sapphire is a wonderful ship. Please say hello from Paul to Kelly in the Spa!

I have had this happen several ways, so it is hard to tell which method will apply to you.

A couple of days before the end of the cruise there will be a letter delivered to your cain with instructions for turnaround day.

We have experienced:
a) New cruise cards delivered to the cabin the last night of the first segment;
b) Picking up the new cards on shore at a special table;
c) Meeting in a ship restaurant on turnaround day and being handed the new cards;
d) Picking the new cards up at the purser's desk on turnaround day.

As mentioned previously, you will need to go through the procedure of having the new card activated by having the machine take your picture.

And as mentioned previously, if the turnaround is at a US port and departing passengers need to go through immigration, so will you.

Princess will give you instructions for turnaround day a few days before the end of the first cruise.

We have done 4 b2b's and have never needed the boarding pass for the second cruise.

We still have our boarding pass for our 'Second Cruise'. I would advise however that you check your second set of pass keys as soon as you can. Ours did not work, so I had to order a new set, however all was not lost. For some reason Princess credited me with a third cruise, so, on our next cruise I was given Platinum status, now I have one more cruise than my wife!!!
I used my free internet minutes to good advantage, placing an order for our new car in Canada, from Dover England.
