Default Jewel elevators/lifts.

Are they really glass ones looking out to the sea?

Please someone tell me there are also inside ones as well for those(me) that are a tad scared of heights and all things that look unsafe.

Also do all the ships do the days in the lifts(only been on Nav)

Default No worries

Yes there are regular inside lifts/elevators as well as the ones that overlook the water, I personally think that these ones are amazing but I can totally understand why it might be a little frightening to some.
Every ship that I've been on with RCL has had the amazing changing of the day in the elevator, the best is when you're on a cruise more than 7 days long and you get to see at least one day more than 1 time.
Cheers!

They're not as bad as you may think...simply face the door, and you won't have to look out....but, there are "inside" elevators, too!

I haven't been on Jewel. On Radiance all the elevators in the Centrum have glass walls. Two of them face the ocean so you can see the waves as you ascend/descend. The other two face the Centrum so you can see it. The only "solid" wall elevators are the forward ones. I assume Jewel is the same.

Default Thanks.

I will see how brave I get. I love the days in the lifts I take a pic on a morn then I know what days my pics are for easier.

I often get strange looks taking the days pics in the lifts.

Never been on Radiance, but I assume Radiance is the same as Jewel, Serenade and Brilliance, all of these hafe 4 Elevators facing the ocean and two facing the Centrum

That looks like the same ones that are in my Radiance pictures. I guess if you are afraid of heights, all the Centrum elevators need to be avoided.

That is correct.................4 facing the ocean and 2 facing the centrum and they are all slow!

The 4 facing the ocean are the only ones that go to Deck 13.

There are also 3 elevators in the forward part of the ship but there are none in the aft section.

I'm ok with the glass lifts much prefer the closed ones. the pics don't make it look so bad.

If you don't try the Aft. elevator all the way up to deck 13 you'll miss seeing these......
