Default AOS Balcony question

Does anyone know if the balconies on the very edge of the hump have any more room than the ones on the flat side of the ship? Example is room 7328 or 7310 (voyager class). Also, is the view obstructed? I have booked 7690 aft, but also considering one of these cabins or just one on the side. Any thoughts? I know there is steel structure obstructing view but the bigger balcony looks nice. Any opinions on what you would book? (January cruise) Thanks!

On Adventure, the hump doesn't affect the balcony size--it will be the same size as those on the side of the ship. None of the balconies have obstructed views.

Thanks! On the deck plans it looked like it might be a little larger. Still trying to decide whether to keep the Aft. Decisions, decisions! Anyone else like to give their opinion?

I've been in a hump cabin and the famous 7688 on the Explorer. 7690 was right next to us and I did get a peek at it. It all depends on what is more important to you. The hump cabins are incredibly convenient being right by the stairs and elevators and their balconies are unobstructed and the same size as the other side balconies. Deck 7 on the Explorer has the library, so there is a nice quiet area with comfortable chairs just steps from your cabin. The aft cabin balconies are enormous. The balcony for 7690 would be as wide as your cabin and about 12 feet deep - large enough for a lounger and a couple of chairs with room to spare. The obstruction on the back is the superstructure of the ship - look at http://travel.webshots.com/photo/106...36355651YGllfg for cabin 7390. You cannot look straight down from this balcony at the water. It is also covered, so depending on the position of the ship, you might get sun at some point during the day.

Thanks so much 138! I appreciate your input. I didn't really know how big the balcony would be. I just knew it was bigger. I'm glad to know you've been there. I've been doing some research and most think it's worth it to have the extra balcony space. Thanks again!
