Does Sunset Grande take reservations??

Contacted Sunset Grande (Ocho Rios) to request a confirmation for Christmas week and they said they don't take reservations. Basically said 'just show up and if they're not at capacity they'll sell you a day pass'. This makes me nervous - especially during a holiday sail.

Those of you who have been to Sunset in the past, did they take actually confirm a reservation - or are they altering their policy for the holiday? Thanks for your help!
