Default WOOT WOOT and Mama Mia

Today was one of my most favorite days before a cruise. I bought milk that has an expiration date after the day we sail.. WOOT WOOT. After I picked up that gallon of milk at the grocery store, I almost "sailed" right through the rest of the store.

I was wondering if anyone knows if they have a copy of Mama Mia on the Dawn or should I bring my own copy?? I don't know if I can make it two weeks without .. lol (sadly you probably think I'm kidding but Doug will tell you I'm not).

Hi Terry,

I can't answer about Mama Mia, BUT the milk expiration date is a great feeling!!! I hope you and Doug have a great cruise on the Dawn. She is my favorite.

Thank you.. It's getting to the point of being hard to contain our excitement. Very excited to be sailing on the Dawn after hearing so many good things about her.

Terry-
You'll get to meet Planer's Edge before I do!!!!!! I don't get to meet him until March........

Please leave the Dawn intact! No need to tell you to have a wonderful cruise because I'm sure you will anyway!

She hasn't graced us (roll call) with her presence yet (though I've seen a few photos). John and I have been chatting for a few months now.

I was buying milk today and I thought I wonder when Terry will be getting his milk! Must have been telepathy making you go and fetch it today.

I loved Mama Mia but not sure I could watch it every week, the songs brought back a lot of memories. Take it in case as we don't want you going cold turkey. Only 4 more months to my milk day.

Just an update.. Doug just read the thread and has forbidden Mama Mia for the entire length of the cruise.. He said it is his vacation too.. (rolling his eyes at the thought of seeing or hearing that movie again). He said having to watch that trapped in our stateroom would be worse than having to put on a suit for dinner...

Hmmmmm. Dramamine does knock people out..doesn't it? Maybe I could convince him it is a breath mint when I get to the point I just HAVE to watch it..

LOL.. I had said at one time I would write my review and title it something with "queen of the dawn".. but Doug reminded me that was done last year.. so I guess I will have to be "empress of the dawn". I can assure you though I will not be as entertaining as the queen of the dawn was. Much more reserved.. 8-)

LOL! You're definitely addicted! Kinda how I feel about Elvis

I have a friend who used to love Gone with the Wind when we were younger. He could tell you exactly what everyone would say. He made me fall in love with it too!

Hope you have a great cruise!

Terry and Doug-
Have an awesome time...I, too, could watch (or at least have as background) Mama Mia every day. I can't believe I didn't get to see it at Mandalay Bay before it was replace with Lion King!

Anyway, it feels so strange that we are leaving soon also...10/31. It just doesn't feel like it's here yet.

Hope you have the best time ever!

Rick

LOL! Take it anyway Terry. I love that movie and I drive my partner nuts with it. Even more so after I have watched it as I continue to sing the songs all day. It puts me in a happy place.

Have a wonderful cruise on the Dawn. She was our first. Have to say I still love the Star more tho. Your excitement is catching and I am excited for you and Doug!
