well i honestly thought we wouldnt go i got laid off from my job in banking laffs.. and thought well i wouldnt get a job so fast but as luck would have it i did ..so now the sticky part ..asking the new job for time off . so i explained that i booked early saver and well my wife and i need a break after the year we had .all they could say was um .. u got to be kidding but .. they didnt .. my boss worked it so i could have 12 days off in a row so we could really unwind . shes a sweetie . now when i get back ill have hrs of over time to do but cares .. were going yippie . so i thought i would share . since i got alot of good info off the ports board and westcoast board . . thanks all

Looks like your going to be on the Splendor this Sunday, So am i and can hardly wait i am almost packed and got the last min costume stuff today, when are you leaving LV? I live just south of u about 90 miles, we are leaving on Sat morning a bunch of us are meeting up for dinner on Sat night if you are in Long Beach, check out the roll call board and let us know.... my mom and her husband are going to .. my moms bday so were going to dinner hm pf changs then the wife and i are going to pine st , to listen to some music ,ive been on the roll call a lil bit we dont drink so . never been on a carnival cruise been on lots of others so looking forwared to seeing how it is ..
